My employment as a live=in caregiver has ended, do to the death of my client, Richard Carpenter. I was with Mr. Carpenter for four and a half years. We had a great relationship and I miss him very much.
I adopted the attitude that whatever happened, he was right. It took a lot of stress out of the job, I just would smile and say "Oh, yes, that is a great idea!" And it made me feel good and it made him think that I was working for his behalf. Cause I was!
