Description

I am nursing student and just finished my first round of medical/surgical nursing clinical. All of my patients were elderly (over the age of 65). I have 2 years experience working as a companion to a 90-year-old female client with Alzheimer's. My duties as a companion included assistance with activities of daily living such as preparing meals, washing dishes, assistance with bathing and hygiene, cleaning her apartment, and transferring her to social activities for daily interaction with her peers.
