Description

I am a 38 year old woman that loves and admires the elderly. My first job was in a nursing home when I was only 15 years old. I worked at that facility for about 10 years on and off. I also worked at a hospital as a PCA for almost two years and loved it. I went to Northeastern University for nursing but I was unable to finish my education. I decided to care for my ailing grandmother that was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. It was quite a difficult decision but I never will regret caring for her instead of finishing school. I learned so much about her in the time that we had together and I miss her still very much today. I hope to return soon and get my degree. I would love to work for a private family and not an Agency. I would love to have that one on one relationship again. I do not have any living grandparents and would consider anyone I cared for as if they were my own grandparent.
