Description

I have worked in the dementia unit of a nursing home for the past year and have learned a great deal. My residents range from early onset dementia to the ending stages and some are able to care for themselves while others are total care. I wake up in the morning and look forward to going to work so I can see the people whom I've come to love and care for. While I enjoy working at my current job, I don't feel as though I get to spend enough time one on one with each resident. I believe I would get more opportunities to do so with home care. I will be moving to Charlottesville in the beginning of August and am interested in working for this company.
