Description

Hello! I am currently a nursing student at MATC, and will be transferring to Cardinal Stritch University next year to finish up my associates degree. I am 26 and have much experience in the care giving field. You could say I've been doing this since my mother opened her own daycare out of our home when I was ten years old. Everyday I would come home from school and help out/ play/ take care of tumbles and other general needs of the children. Also, I have prior experience with in home care for the elderly. I have just completed a CNA course and will become officially certified shortly. Caring for others kind of runs in the family - - I have two aunts who are veterans in the field; my brother is currently seeking an associates degree in Nursing and my mother, while maintaining her child care, is soon to complete her associates in Nursing at Cardinal Stritch University. Also, my best friend of four years, who is more like a sister than anything else, is a nurse at Aurora. A little synopsis of what I enjoy - - reading, sociology, movies,the history / discovery channel (when I have time...) hiking,camping, cooking, sewing, studying cultures and languages (I can speak a little bit of Danish and French and am focusing on Latin at the moment).
