Description

I have worked for 3 years in the prescription and medical industry dealing with benefit companies serving their customers and employees with dignity, respect, and compassion in all areas. I find myself wishing to help our countries elderly more and more each day but my job currently does not allow me to go beyond their benefits. In certain situations if need shows itself I can request that a certain person or benefits member is looked upon by an agency that deals with more serious matters such as depression or financial help or mobility assistance but I myself don't actually get to see that it is done. This bothers me because each and everyday that I'm on the phone it seems as though I deal with more people who need help that, given my position, I can't apply. It seems that with the upcoming changes in government that are to effect the health industry that this trend will continue and more people will be confused and disgruntled with dealing with their benefits. I only hope that I could be of assistance through other means than my current employment.
