Description

My experience ranges from nursing home to care taker. I have worked with several neighbors who are elderly and have assisted them with errands, doctor's appt., bathing, dressing, ROM, vital signs, and any other personal needs). I currently work in a nursing home where my clients range from dementia, stroke, back injuries, spinal cord injuries, tube feeders, catheters, hospice I took care of a relative who was in a serious car accident which left him unable to walk and care for himself. I took care of my grandmother until she passed away with dementia for 2 years. I worked with mentally ill children for 2 years and recently acquired my license. My expectations are very high. I take care of my residents/clients as if they were a member of my own family. I make it a point to get to know there routine to keep them as comfortable as possible. I enjoy talking with them because I learn something new everyday. I am more than willing to relocate to where my clients are and stay as long as possible. 9
