Description

As my parents have aged, I have become acutely aware of the need for quality help for the senior population. My caregiving skills have been developed and honed as my own parents have had increasingly more health issues. My Dad passed away in May 2008 and I became part-time caregiver for my Mom for a brief period then full-time caregiver for an extended time. During that time my Mom began to recuperate and has finally regained her health! I also started helping my Mom's friends with a myriad of issues, and I began to notice that older folks just need some extra help to be able to live beautifully on their own. I am highly qualified to offer that help. I am an awesome cook! I keep the house organized and clean. I am good company...cheerful and positive. I'm dependable, punctual, extremely honest and enjoy time with older folks. I believe that the right person can make a connection that is meaningful and can have an incredibly positive impact in the life of a senior citizen.

I have been around older folks for much of my adult life. Starting with Grandma Lillie in our family, I have provided care and nuturing and have enjoyed spending time with seniors. I have a lifetime of experience cooking, cleaning and organizing and my personality is well suited for working with seniors. I feel like honesty is supremely important and in that regard, I am highly qualified.
