Description

I have worked temporarily as Night Shift Receptionist/Caregiver at Orange Coast Villa, a retirement home in Costa Mesa, California. I also did an In-Home care for an elderly lady in Fullerton, CA for 6 months (April to October 2003), as a weekend reliever to her regular caregiver. She is an amputee, but other than that she has no other medical condition. From time to time, I worked as reliever to regular caregivers during weekends and holidays, and mostly it's in the seniors homes. I am a caring and nurturing person. I believe this is the reason why everybody I have taken cared of were drawn to me (modesty aside). I always get emotionally attached to the people I cared for and them to me, and sometimes it makes it harder to leave them when I have to. I tend to spoil them because in my mind they deserve it and also knowing that they are not gonna be here for a long time.
