Last year I completed a course and passed state licensing to become a Certified Nurse Assistant. I love my work! I worked in a nursing/rehabilitation facility for 5 months after completing the course.I found the work to be extremely rewarding although very challenging physically. During my work in the nursing facility I met a wonderful family that I am currently employed with. I care for a 95 year old woman in her home. I help her with her activities of daily living including bathing, exercises, cooking ,cleaning, yard work, errands, doctor appointments etc. I love my job and although I am not available for any more hours currently, I would like to continue as a caretaker/ CNA and would like to be considered in the future. I do both homemaking and personal care with my clients along with running errands ( shopping and picking up prescriptions ). I love to care for my clients, young and elderly, and genuinely care for each and every one of them, even the occasional difficult ones. I really enjoy making sure their home is clean and safe for them and am happy to assist them any way I can. For the past 4 years I have worked in private homes. I feel that my passions lies in both home care and hospice care.
